Who’s on board?
BostonBRT is managed by the Institute for Transportation & Development Policy (ITDP), an international nonprofit organization founded in 1985 by sustainable transport advocates. Today, ITDP works with cities to bring about transport solutions that cut greenhouse gas emissions, reduce poverty, and improve the quality of urban life.
ITDP has offices in the United States, Argentina, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, and Mexico. ITDP employs more than 60 staff, and supplements the team with leading architects, urban planners, transportation experts, developers, and financiers. The team has worked in more than 25 countries and more than 100 cities and is considered a leading authority on BRT systems.
